Super Easy + Delicious Brownie in a Mug!
Happy Sunday (and Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms)! Here’s a quick brownie recipe I make for my mom, and she loves it. We don’t typically keep dessert at the house, so I have to improvise with whatever ingredients we do have. It's a little dangerous, but if you eat it in moderation you'll be fine. You can make this recipe gluten-free or dairy-free! I added the specific ingredients we used in parentheses, but feel free to use what suits your dietary restrictions. Try it out and let me know what you think!
3 tbsp. flour (oat flour)
1 tbsp. sugar (brown)
1 tbsp. cocoa powder*
3/4 tbsp. oil (coconut or olive)
1 tsp. vanilla extract (optional)
1 tsp. baking soda
3.5 tbsp. milk (almond)
¼ cup of chocolate chips
Grab your favorite 8 oz. mug!
Add the dry ingredients in the mug: flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking soda.
Mix these together before adding in the oil, vanilla extract, and milk (you may need to add more milk if the consistency isn’t optimal).
Sprinkle in the chocolate chips.
Microwave for 1 minute. Enjoy!
