Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever


Second recipe this week? I'm on a roll. I made these two months ago but wanted to share here as a part of my recipe index. This might've been the first time I successfully made chocolate chip cookies and I owe it all to this recipe. I found it somewhere and made adjustments. Hope you all try it out!

Recipe

Wet Mix

  • 1/2 cup white sugar (can reduce)

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (can reduce)

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar (ACV)

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • 1/2 cup butter (can be replaced with ghee or vegan butter)

  • 1 egg (can use a flaxseed egg as a replacement)

  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Dry Mix

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (can substitute with gluten-free flour)

  • 1 cup oat flour

  • 1 tsp. baking soda

  • 1 tsp. baking powder


Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 ˚F.

  2. Dry Mix: Add both flours, baking soda, and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Set it to the side.

  3. Wet Mix: Add both sugars, vanilla extract, olive oil, and butter to a separate bowl. Mix it all up.

  4. Crack one egg in the wet mix bowl with the ACV before mixing it again.

  5. Pour the wet mix into the dry mix.

  6. Blend the two before adding in the chocolate chips.

  7. Roll the mixture into little balls before baking.

  8. Grease an oven-safe container/aluminum cookie sheet and place the cookie dough on it.

  9. Bake the cookies for 15-20 min or until they are slightly brown.
